We are passionate about each child’s experience at Lionheart.
We firmly believe that every child is uniquely and wonderfully made and deserves to be loved and respected just as they are. Our educational philosophy aligns with that view by taking a holistic approach to learning and nurturing all areas of development. We want more for our children than just academic success, we desire that our children are whole, healthy, connected, engaged, confident, problem-solvers, and respectful of themselves and others.
Our Educational Values are designed through the eyes of a child and describe what we desire each child to experience while at Lionheart. These values are the strong foundation that our programs are built upon. Our prayer is that these values are living and breathing across every academy and that every child that walks into a Lionheart experiences our values.
Recognizing our educational values as the cornerstone of our educational philosophy, we use Experience Early Learning curriculum in each of our infant to pre-k classrooms. EEL weaves research-based educational practices into meaningful activities and projects. When combined with our nurturing environment, intentional teaching practices, and meaningful relationships, these skills will prepare your child for success in school and in life!

Nurturing the Whole Child
While education is vitally important, life is not all about what you know. Well-rounded, healthy children also develop physically, educationally, emotionally, and spiritually. We emphasize physical activity and structured play while also teaching and practicing healthy eating. Most importantly, we want every child to know they are safe and loved unconditionally by their parents, by Lionheart, and by God. Lionheart Children’s Academy seeks to affirm children and celebrate their individual gifts. Children are taught Bible stories and encouraged to memorize key Bible passages that affirm God’s love and plan for them. We believe it is critical to building a good spiritual foundation in the lives of children in order for them to grow spiritually and morally throughout their lives, giving them a plumb line for making good decisions.
Parent Partnership
Lionheart partners with parents as they love and raise their children. For us, that is a sacred trust. We desire to cultivate real relationships of love and support for our parents in the daily hustle and bustle of life. We communicate regularly with parents to update them on all aspects of their child’s progress, so they can reinforce learning at home.
